| Positioned as a 'Real Kiwi Pub' The Sprig & Fern Taverns are fast becoming local icons. Just
ask any of the regular locals or the hordes of backpackers who frequent the newly opened Tavern on
Milton Street in Nelson.
With their business name already in place, 7DS became involved with owners David and Craig when
they needed a brand mark. As is always the case, we took a step backwards, did the consultation and
created brandvalues that reflected their original concept and their vision for the business. From
there the design work began.
A number of design routes were considered, but the classical typographic brand mark was selected,
as it matched the business proposition perfectly. With the addition of the stylised S&F icon
that compliments the brand, the Sprig and Fern Taverns have a versatile brand that can be applied
to all their marketing needs.
